2012 FILM EXPEDITION BASE CAMP MOUNTAINS GREENHORN BOAT SHOP EXPEDITIONS T-SHIRTS THAT DONT SUCK FILM SAILING CONTACT With special consideration for the tsunami and earthquakes of 2005-2006, the film project will be part of a larger, long-term recovery effort in the Indo-Pacific region.  The construction of a large wooden catamaran will be filmed in time-lapse, and will touch on many key techniques in boat building innovation. These dramatic visual images, in combination with a quick overview of the vessels design, will serve as a lead-in for the scientific expedition to find and film a rare ocean mammal never before seen on a film of this scale.  Indo-Pacific culture is rich with seafaring tradition and represents the quintessential example of the delicate balance of life that exists in the Pacific Islands.
